Infrared Thermography is the world’s leading predictive instrument tool. Why? Because an infrared camera produces an image of the heat radiation that it views and the picture that is produced is a story to what is happening in relation to the thermal patterns. Heat is a factor of waste especially in an electrical system. When excessive heat is detected by the camera an image can be produced that becomes in itself a powerful tool. With this data repairs and/or preventive maintenance can be scheduled. Costs can be controlled by ordering parts a head of time, scheduling the work when the operation can afford to be shut down and by minimizing the possibility of dangerous conditions such as fire and/or other loss. Infrared has many applications such as electrical grids, mechanical systems, building envelopes, commercial rooftops, R&D operations, medical industry and many, many others. |
